Editorial Portrait series
This project is part of our ongoing work producing editorial and celebrity portrait shoots. Finnish actor Elmer Bäck IMDb — known for his distinctive presence and artistic depth — was featured in a cinematic photo series that later appeared in Numéro Magazine China.

The Brief
We were commissioned to create a portrait series that captured several nordic actors and actresses, here, Elmer Bäck’s personality with a refined, cinematic edge suitable for an international fashion publication.
The goal was to highlight his expressive range while maintaining a clean, editorial style.

Our responsibilities included:
– Concept development and mood direction
– Styling guidance and look coordination
– Photo production and on-set direction
– Editing and retouching for publication

Our Approach
We chose a minimal, atmospheric visual language, allowing Elmer’s character and presence to lead the narrative.
Soft sculptural lighting, carefully curated wardrobe, and a subtle cinematic tone shaped a series that feels intimate yet editorial.

The approach focused on authenticity over artifice — creating portraits that feel quiet, strong, and emotionally resonant.

Results
The final selection of images was published in Numéro China, reinforcing the timeless elegance of the series.
The shoot also forms part of our broader portfolio of international celebrity portrait work, spanning actors, artists, and public figures.
